We recently worked with a company whose process involved metal printing. If you’re familiar with metal printing, you know that it gives off an offensive odor, especially in a smaller room. We were dealing with two of the same printers in an enclosed area with air conditioning being the only form of air circulation. We talked with them about what they needed and figured out what would work best.
Our solution was to go with an ambient collector with charcoal filters. For the ambient collection, we used two M-11CF Air King units to circulate the air and reduce the odor of the fume in the process. Overall, this was a very effective solution to the issue they were having. The company is pleased with the results and after visiting the location myself, I can’t tell there was a harsh odor in there to begin with.
